ABOUT ME
Dr Georgios Mangioris obtained the medical diploma at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with excellent degree and afterwards he worked as general doctor for 1.5 years. Then he worked at the experimental laboratory of retinal and choroidal circulation of Prof Pournaras at HUG and at the corneal unit of Dr Dosso. He published numerous scientific articles in international journals. He started the residency in ophthalmology at the university clinic of Geneva and in the meantime he obtained his PhD titled “Effects of the riboflavin /UVA cross-linking on the rabbits cornea” at the University of Thessaloniki.
In 2010 he became specialist in ophthalmology and worked as Chef de Clinique at the Geneva ophthalmology clinic. Then he worked at La Chaux de Fond as Chef de Clinique. In 2013 he moved to the UK to finish his surgical training. He stayed for 2 years and was specialized at eye surgery with subspeciality in surgical retina at London Kings Eye Hospital and Belfast University hospital.
Since 2015 he works in Geneva at the private practice. He is affiliated with the clinic La Colline and Vision Clinique. He collaborates with centre ophtalmologique de Rive and group medical d’Onex.
DR. DOMNIKI PAPADOPOULOU

ABOUT ME
Dr Domniki Papadopoulou obtained the medical diploma at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with excellent degree and afterwards she worked as general doctor for 1.5 years. Then she worked at the experimental laboratory of retinal and choroidal circulation of Prof Pournaras at HUG. She published numerous scientific articles in international journals.
She started the residency in ophthalmology at the university clinic of Geneva and in the meantime she finished her doctoral thesis at the University of Geneva (effect of antiVEGF treatment of the retinal circulation in patients with AMD). She was member of the corneal transplantation unit of the 1st University clinic of Thessaloniki and obtained her PhD titled “Use of tissue adhesives after corneal trauma”. Afterwards she became an ocular oncology fellow and medical retina fellow at the University hospital of Lausanne (Asile des Aveugles) next to Prof Zografos.
Since 2013 she works in Gevena at the private practice. She is member of the Ordre ophtalmologue de Genève.
